AMIA 2012: JMX Analysis Module: Multi-thread aggregate NLP performance monitoring

ABSTRACT: Distributed, asynchronous natural language processing (NLP) systems allow groups to tackle very large processing tasks. As the number of components in such a system grows, gathering statistics, identifying bottlenecks, and system tuning become increasingly complex. This poster introduces JMX Analysis Module (JAM), a new performance monitoring tool based on Unstructured Information Management Architecture Asynchronous Scaleout (UIMA AS).
